Unknown Miraculous Intervention. 1

“If it had not been the Lord who was on our side,” Let Israel now say-– “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, When men rose up against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us; Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, The stream would have gone over our soul; Then the swollen waters Would have gone over our soul. Blessed be the Lord, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Psalms 124:1-8. NKJV.”

I read the actual story of a man who had a great relationship with the Lord Jesus. One day, he asked the Lord that he noticed in his walk with Him, he always see four feet walking together, but during turbulent times in his life, he sees only two feet, and he wondered whether the Lord had forsaken him!
The Lord Jesus told him that those times he saw only two feet walking are the times he was so weak because of the challenges that he could barely walk, _*then Jesus had to carry him, that the two feet he saw was not his, but the Lord’s!*_ Without his asking, the Lord had been carrying and intervening in his life when he could not help himself.
This had been the case in our various lives, if you could look back, you cannot really say how you survived the difficult times, but it has been the Lord Who keeps us going by His great oversight. Jehovah had promised never to forsake us whatever we may be passing through; _*“Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isaiah 46:4.”*_
Paul had three shipwreck, in one of them, we have the account in 2Corinthians 11 that he spent 24hours floating up and down on the high seas, but thanks be to God, sharks or other big fishes didn’t eat him up, this can only be attributed to divine intervention, he could have grown tired of swimming or holding unto the planks or slept off, yet he survived! This is the doing of the Lord! Hallelujah!
