The Ministry Of Visitation. 2

“Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me. And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.

Luke 10:38-42. NKJV.

The Lord Jesus Himself during His earthly ministry visited many people, including Peter’s family, Zacchaeus households as well as well as Lazarus’ family.
Utmost care must be taken in this sensitive ministry which relational people are glad to be involved in, that it does not degenerate into what attract curses instead of blessing, therefore, when you visit other believers;
*Do not entertain gossip.* Gossip is when you talk about issues in a negative way about others or the Church without any efforts to help the person or fellowship become better, or solve the problem, which will improve relationship among brethren.
Gossips who delights in hearing opinions about events or people in the local Church or among the units will hear what will annoy, anger or infuriates such, the Bible says; _*“Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee. Ecclesiastes 7:21. KJV.”*_ Bishop Reuben Olú Òké alway affirm; gossips will always end up becoming sad, he who delights to hear everything others says will not hear good news! How true!
When you visits, *report whatever issues needing attention to the appropriate quarters* who will address the situation. Departmental complaints should be reported to The Pastoral or ministerial office to handle as deemed fit.
When you visits, *never raise dead issues, hurts or disappointment of 2/3years* past with new people. This is very bad, doing so is sowing bad seeds in their hearts against people without knowing what causes what.
