The Price For Open Heavens. 3

“Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Matthew 19:27-29.”

When Peter heard the difficulty of making heavens for those who are not ready to give what it entails, he looked beyond himself, since he is human subjected to human frailty, and cried for what should be his fate. On this, the Lord Jesus assured him and others that their price will never go without attracting the worthy prize which is their pursuit!
Those who follow the Lord Jesus for the sake of heavens will gain the benefits of the earth inclusive, but those who follow because of only physical blessings alone may get the blessings, but if the blessings delayed, they might go back to the world and lose the most important blessing of following Jesus! (Matthew 16:26.)
Likewise, there is price reopen Heavens and its different blessings, when the Apostles followed with sincere and genuine hearts, the Lord assured them of grace that keeps going strong till the home is reached. Hence, what price are you paying that will command open heavens over your life and endeavour?
Reflection: those who follows for the sake of heavens will gain the benefits of the earth inclusive.
• God of open heavens, command the heavens to open over my life and ministry in Jesus name.
• my Father, I claim the promised earthly blessings of following the Lord Jesus. (Matthew 19:29.)
• my Father, let Your grace and mercy keep me going in Jesus name.
• my Father, help my human frailties in Jesus name.
• the promised heavenly blessings, I claim them in Jesus name.
• my prepared home in heaven, I will not miss it in Jesus name.
• I will not miss every prepared blessings for my life and ministry in Jesus name.
• my Father, let the heavens be open over my life and endeavour in Jesus name.
