Open Heavens of Deliverance From Captivity.
“Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”;.. Put on your garment and follow me. So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. When they were past the first and the second posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord.
Acts 12:8-11.
Jehovah has effected numerous deliverance on behalf of His children through the Lord Jesus Christ! One of such is the deliverance of Peter from Herod’s captivity, so that he will not be killed like James, and also, that the promise of living to old age could be fulfilled in Peter!
Three things played crucial role in this unusual deliverance of Peter from prison; the word of promise of our Lord in John’s gospel. (John 21:18-19.) Jesus said His words will never go unfulfilled. (Matthew 24:35.)
Secondly is prayers of the saints on behalf of Peter; Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. Acts 12:5. God answers prayers of the saints, He intervene when saints prays sincerely and in earnest.
Thirdly is the ministry of angels. Christians are never asked to pray to angels throughout the Bible. Angelic ministry are in response to prayers we pray to God the Father in Jesus name. Angels serve on behalf of Redeemed saints; “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Hebrews 1:14.”
PRAYER
• My Father, let the heavens of unusual deliverance from captivity open over my life; spirit, soul and body.
• In any way I am in captivity, o Lord, deliver me. (Spiritual, emotional or financial captivity.)
• My Father, let Your Word triumph over every satanic manipulation to get my life gounded in Jesus name. Psalms 118:17, 1Peter 2:24.
• Ministering angels of the Lord, intervene on my behalf and fight for me in Jesus name. Judges 5:20.
• My life, glory and destiny, you are released from all demonic captivity in Jesus name. Isaiah 49:24-26.
• My Father, disappoint every negative expectations over my life and wellbeing in Jesus name. Job 5:12.
• my Father, open the heavens over my life and endeavour in Jesus name.
