Unfortunate Occurrences.
“Then David returned to bless his household. And Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meet David, and said, “How glorious was the king of Israel today, uncovering himself today in the eyes of the maids of his servants, as one of the base fellows shamelessly uncovers himself! 2 Samuel 6:20. NKJV.”
When good people have difficult spouses, that’s life’s unfairness! May you never be unfortunate in life and relationship in Jesus name.
It is one of the discouraging issues when the home of a child of God is experiencing challenges, many times, it is a craftily designed attack against the morality of the person, but this does not in any way suggest that something is wrong with the person who has a difficult marriage.
The Church should celebrate and encourage such people like David, who endangered his life to marry Michal. He and his men had to go to battle and kill two hundred Philistines and presented their foreskins as dowry to King Saul.
But, having a father like King Saul, and also being addicted to the royal ethics above honouring God, Michal became critical of her husband, and she ended up becoming barren for life.
Don’t ever mock those having a difficult marriage, it is favour, mercy and grace when you have a blissful home
Reflection: the upright who have a difficult spouse should be prayed for, encouraged and celebrated.
