Open Heavens In Life And Ministry.
“Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

I welcome you to this special month in Choice World, this month marks a new ministry calendar year, and as it is our dynamic custom, we dedicate this whole month to fasting and prayers, to seek the face of the Lord for definite directions for the next one year, trusting Him for grace, wisdom, blessings, mercy, and signs for an impactful year.
Bishop Samuel 1 Olumakinde Alawode, the Apostolic President of Fuel the Fire Ministers Network, while ministering during the monthly fellowship around 6months ago, stirs up my heart about the above topic, which will be our main focus this month. Each devotional will be short, and emphasis will be given to prayers on the specific issue raised for each day.
When our Lord Jesus was baptised, the Bible says the heavens were opened unto Him personally, not to everyone, but to Him! Therefore, the first truth is that open heavens in an individual issue, while multitudes have been baptised, only our Lord Jesus have heavens opened unto Him for an impactful life and ministry. Multitudes were coming for baptism at Jordan, but it was upon Him heavens open. (Don’t mind the tense!)
Reflection: open heavens is first of all, a personal issue.
° My Father, let the heavens over my life and ministry open in Jesus name.
° heavens of goodness in all areas of life, open over my life and family in Jesus name.
° I decree, my life and destiny will not be dependent on others to function, my live, receive your open heavens in Jesus name.
° My Father, I am available, open the heavens over my life in Jesus name.
° I receive grace to wait upon the Lord this month in Jesus name.
° Heavens over my life and ministry, open in Jesus name.
° Make definite declarations of God’s words and promises over your life and family this new month; September 2022.
