Open Heavens of Unusual Miracles. 2

There was a famine in the land, besides the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar. Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you…. Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous.

Genesis 26:1-2, 12-13.

The scripture is filled with several unusual miracles, Isaac experienced one during a time of famine that is so severe that he thought, as in the opening scriptures, to relocate to Egypt where there is no famine.
But God instructed him not to relocate, He promise to bless his work which logic nor science can explain. When he obeyed, stayed in the land, and planted his crops, God gave him a miraculous harvest. His farm yielded 100% harvest, this is beyond human comprehension.
Two things played out for him to experience this unusual harvest, first is God’s words to him not to run away. Don’t treat God’s words causally, everything rises or falls on how you treat God’s words. Isaac obeyed the voice of God and experienced the reward of obedience.
Isaac took the risk of planting his crop as a farmer because God asked him to stay in the land, hence, he didn’t fold his hands expecting a miracle when he did nothing! The Bible says; “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. Isaiah 1:19.” Work, don’t while away time.
