And when she had opened it, she saw the child, and behold, the baby wept. So she had compassion on him, and said, “This is one of the Hebrews’ children. Then his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, “Shall I go and call a nurse for you from the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you? And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Go.” So the maiden went and called the child’s mother. Then Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, “Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.” So the woman took the child and nursed him.
Exodus 2:6-9.
When th heavens opens, it presupposes that a child of God will experience unusual mercies in situation where others are meeting with brick walls.
In the opening scriptures, we don’t know the numbers of newly born male babies who have met their untimely death before Moses was born. When the parents could no longer keep him secret, they make an Ark for him and put him on the river bed. Pharaoh’s daughter knew without doubt that this is an Hebrew boy but he received compassion, instead of death, he received a Prince status, his mother even received payment for raising her own son!
To the glory of God and to Satan’s shame, Moses became the great deliverer and lawgiver, who brought Israel out of Egypt and establish national laws! This miracle is of unusual dimensions!
When God grants unusual mercies, there is a bigger purpose God wants to achieve through you, do not disappoint Him, Moses didn’t, his life yields dividends that our world is still enjoying till date!
Reflection: mercy of Jehovah cancels unfortunate incidences.
PRAYER
° my Father, let the heavens of unusual mercies open over my life and ministry in Jesus name.
° my Father, grant me unusual mercies where others are meeting with closed doors in Jesus name.
° mercy for destiny fulfilment, be released upon me in Jesus name.
° every policies and protocols that are inimical to my destiny fulfilment, be suspended in Jesus name.
° everything called unfortunate incidences, pass over me and all mine in Jesus name. Psalms 91.
