The Price For Open Heavens. 4
“And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day’s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
Luke 2:43-47.”
This season, equip yourself for the Open Heavens you desire from the Lord Jesus! As I have said several times, whatever the Lord Jesus or the scriptures ask us to do is within our ability to do, God’s words is not to put any burden on us, as children, the Father knows what we can carry with joy. (1John 5:3.)
The Lord Jesus at age 12years stayed back in Jerusalem after the 7days of yearly Passover celebration, during this period, He was conversing with the Doctors of the law of His day to know their minds about spiritual issues, before He will start His ministry! He wanted to know their stance on the various issues that is crucial to their walk with God and how He could help His beloved people most.
What interest me most about this account is; how is the Lord Jesus faring during this 3days as to feeding? At age 12years, a Jewish child is solely dependent on parents for feeding, this probably mean, He denied Himself food for this spiritual exposure that immensely prepared Him for His future ministry and encounters with the Pharisees.
Reflection: specific secrets are revealed that empowers you for open heavens when you stayed at the feet of the Lord with thirst.
PRAYER
• My Father, open the heavens over my life and endeavour in Jesus name.
• I receive heavenly nourishment for my frail body in Jesus name.
• my Father, prepare me for future assignment, by revealing crucial secrets to me through Your servants in Jesus name.
• my spirit man, connect with liberating spiritual revelation this season in Jesus name.
• open heavens promised those who wait upon the Lord, manifest in my life and endeavours in Jesus name.
